Ever since giving birth to my son three months ago my skin has been, well awful. All the stress of being a new mum and all the sleepless nights has left my skin looking tired and dull, let's not even talk about those dark circles! So I thought it was about time I invested in some new base makeup to help combat it.
The first thing I decided to pick up is the YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation shade B10 a while ago the lady at the YSL tried this on me and I loved the dewy finish it gave on the skin which is perfect for my skin which is really dry at the minute, to fight the dryness I also bought Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Foundation in Alabaster I've not heard much about this foundation and I haven't tried it yet but from swatching it feels extremely hydrating and lightweight.
On the more heavy coverage end of things I bought Mac ProLongwear Concealer NC15 as I've been lusting after it for ages, I also picked up the infamous Estée Lauder Doublewear In Ecru on first impression the shade seems a tad dark but it's nothing that won't work, I'm hoping to get lots of use out of this in the nighttime and on bad skin days.
I had also ordered Mac mineralize moisture foundation but selfridges messed up and sent me the time check lotion instead so now I've got to wait for them to sort it out but I can't wait to try it out.
I have the Mac Pro Longwear concealer and I absolutely love it! Great coverage!
