The other day I decided to browse the MAC website as I do very often, when I stumbled across a new collection that had just been launched. The Alluring Aquatics collection had just launched, straight away I hit the web and searched for any posts with swatches but I was shocked to find that there wasn't any at all, not even on Temptalia!

I decided to order two of the lipsticks, because as you all know by now I have an addiction to MAC lippies. I ordered them in the colours Mystical, and Goddess Of The Sea.

First of all, can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous this packaging is!
This lippies come in a gorgeous metallic turquoise bullet which actually has raised bumps on it that look like water droplets!


Goddess Of The Sea is described as a 'Dark Vibrant Violet'  I personally wouldn't say its very dark and vibrant but more of a muted violet. It's such a gorgeous colour and will be perfect to wear all year round. This colour really reminds me of mermaids but I have no idea why. It's a creamsheen formula which isn't my favourite, but it's not drying at all and has decent longevity.
Mystical is described as a 'Midtonal creamy rose' for me this is a My lips but better colour, I find its really similar to 'Mehr' which is in MAC's permanent line so if you missed out on this then thats a good alternative. Mystical is also a creamsheen finish.
