As a brand I’ve always had a huge love of Soap and Glory.
For a while now I’ve loved an array of their different bath and body products
and have always found that they work amazingly well and always smell delicious!
As a lot of you may know, a year or two ago Soap and Glory released a makeup
line, I’ve only ever tried the Christmas face palette that they brought out
last year but I was really impressed. So when I was recently hunting around in
the gift section at Boots and stumbled across a Soap and Glory neutral eye
palette called The Perfect Ten I knew
it had to be mine. Like most girls I’m a lover of neutral eye shadow palettes, I
mean you can never have too many can you?
The Perfect Ten is a limited edition eye shadow palette that contains 10 neutral eye shadows, with a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. The main thing that drew me in about this palette other than the colours is that it only costs £16! That being said, because of the price I honestly didn’t have too high expectations for when it came to pigmentation, but boy was I wrong. All the shadows in this palette (with the exception of black gold) are amazingly pigmented and super super blendable. Actually when I was first swatching the palette I swatched the black glittery shade ‘Smokin’ and a similar shade ‘Creep’ from the Urban Decay Naked palette for comparison, and to my surprise the shade in the Soap and Glory palette was far more pigmented! Two stand out shades in this palette for me are ‘Sunset’ and ‘Brownie’ as they are both fantastically pigmented, rich and creamy. Overall I’d definetly recommend this palette, whether you’re looking for an affordable neutral palette, or like me you already have loads but can’t resist adding another to your collection. If you want to pick up this bargain palette then head on down to any Boots, but be quick as It’s limited edition and I can see this selling out!
