WE'RE HAVING A BABY! (12 Weeks Pregnant)

Tuesday, 2 September 2014

For the past 8 weeks I’ve been dying to tell everyone, and now that I’m 12 weeks I finally can.
I’M PREGNANT!
Me and my fiancé Matt are expecting our first baby and although it came as quite a surprise and wasn’t planned at all, everything seems to have fallen into place and we couldn’t be happier. I found out I was pregnant quite early at only 4 weeks so the past two months have killed me not being able to tell anyone, but now at last I can! Our beautiful baby is due March 18th (just before Easter) and we couldn’t be more excited.

Symptoms
Name any early pregnancy symptom and I can bet I’ve had it. Since about 6 weeks I’ve had awful morning sickness and I still do. It actually got to the point where I couldn’t keep any food down and the doctor had to prescribe me anti-sickness tablets. One unexpected symptom is that in the past week I’ve actually fainted twice which was quite scary as I’d never fainted before. I’ve also been suffering with headaches and the ever expected CONSTANT tiredness.
Weight gain/loss
Due to all my morning sickness I’ve actually lost 1st so far!
Maternity Clothes?
None yet (thankfully)
Stretch Marks
Unfortunately I’ve always been prone to stretch marks so I already have quite a fewL
Sleep
Can’t get enough of it! My boss actually let me have a nap for an hour at work the other week which was pretty cool.
What I Miss
Peanut butter, chorizo and salami, and feeling well and not sick.
Food Cravings/Aversions

I’ve pretty much been off all food but the foods I usually love like pasta I’ve had strong aversions to. I’ve not had many cravings other than potatoes and prawn cocktail crisps!

    1. Thank you! Yeah the sickness is probably the worst part but it'll be worth it in the end

  2. Congrats dear! Is this your first child? I'm waiting for my little baby any day now and I'm so excited and happy!
I had a really difficult 1st trimester cause of the nausea and the feeling I had that I will faint all the time and I spent most of the day (everyday) on bed but after 3rd month everything was great! You will see it yourself!
If you need any information you can ask me and I will be really happy to help you!
