Okay, I’m not just a fan I’m a massive fan.
I’ve read all the books, and watched all the films over and over again, I’m a girl obsessed.
Recently I was looking through Hunger Games inspired make-up tutorials and decided that I was going to give it a try.
I was especially inspired by Blogofshadows and xsparkage, who both have AMAZING Hunger Games inspired looks, so be sure to check them both out.
I decided I was going to my a series *I’m nervous as I’ve never done one before* and do makeup looks-mainly eyeshadow- for each district.
If you’re not that familiar with The Hunger Games, district 1 is one of the richer districts and is in charge of making luxury items for the capital.
Whenever I think of district one I automatically think of gold and prescious gems, really anything that sparkles! You can even see that theme through the district one tributes names ‘Cashmere, Gloss, Glimmer, Marvel’
When creating this look I decided to make the eyes look as though they were bathed in gold. The Cargo Lets Meet In Paris palette was perfect for this as its full of gorgeous shimmery, glittery colours and has some gorgeous golds in it.

I wanted to make the lips look like dazzling rubies so I used
MAC Viva Glam Rihanna, it’s a gorgeous frosted red colour that looks exactly
like rubies to me. The flecks of shimmer throughout it sticks to the sparkling
theme throughout the look.
