Collective Boots Haul!

Friday, 25 April 2014

While I enjoy working at Boots every weekend, the one draw back is that I'm surrounded by amazing products tempting me to buy them. It doesn't help that I have pretty much 0% control when it comes to shopping, especially when things are on offer, so more often that not I end up spending half of my wages in Boots. Over the past few weeks I've picked up quite a few beauty bits and bobs so I thought I'd show you guys what I picked up!
One of the first things I picked up was the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. For a while I'd been seeing this over everyone's blog, and every shop I'd gone in to seemed to almost instantly sell out. So when I saw it was on offer for £3 I decided to pick it up and see if it was worth the hype. I can definitely say it is! I've been blown away by this product, they'll definitely be a review coming soon!
After trying the Garnier Micellar water and loving it, I decided to pick up the L'Oreal Skin Perfection version and see how it matched up. I've not really used it that much since I've got it, but first impressions wise I'd say that it's good, but I for sure like the Garnier one better.

Over Christmas it seemed like I was constantly stocked up on falsies but recently I seem to have ran out so I decided to pick up a pair of Ardell Demi-Wispies. I've really wanted to try Ardell lashes for a while now, and I can't wait to try them out and see if the live up to their reputation. Sticking with the eyes, I've always been a massive fan of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo's and I already have nearly all the colours. As we're now in Spring I thought I'd branch out into brighter colours and decided to pick up two more in Insert colour here they should both be perfect for bright eyes. I also grabbed a Rimmel Shadow Stick in white to use a base to make colours more vibrant.

I've never really jumped on the BB cream and CC cream bandwagon, but I'd heard loads of great things about the Bourjois 123 perfect CC Cream. I'd already tried the 123 perfect foundation and loved it so I decided to take a gamble and try the CC cream. In all honesty I had really low expectations, but as soon as I tried it I fell in love. It really does everything it says it will do, and more! I'll definitely be wearing this throughout spring/summer and can see myself repurchasing rather quickly. Because of my love for the CC cream, I thought I'd pick up the CC Eye Cream Concealer to go with it. I haven't really wore it much yet but from what I can tell its lightweight and brightening, although it doesn't offer as much coverage as I'd like. I also grabbed the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer which I've heard many rave reviews about, so far I'm loving it!

Finally, I knew I wanted some products from Sleek so after much deliberation I settled on the Blush By 3: Pink Lemonade and the Brow Kit: Extra Dark. The brow kit suits my colouring perfectly, it comes with a poweder and a gel which both work great but it'll take some getting used to as I've never used a gel on my brows before. The blush set comes with three gorgeous pink blush's, two powder and one cream. At the moment I've only had chance to use the cream blush which is gorgeous, but you only need a light hand when applying!

So that's it for my Boots haul, have any of you tried any of the products above, or is there anything you're planning on picking up while 3 for 2 is still on?
