I used to always think that lipstick was just something that old people wore when they went out *horrible stereotype I know* and if I'm being honest I just wasn't that into it. Until about two years ago after discovering revlon lipsticks I became obsessed.

Now, I know some people say they get obsessed with things but I really do mean it. I think within the space of a year I went from having no lipsticks to having 21!*nearly all revlon* As I've become more involved in the beauty community I've always coveted MAC lipsticks and have always loved seeing what MAC lipsticks everyone else has.

Now I feel I've done buying new lipsticks for a while I thought I'd share with you my MAC lipstick collection. I have eleven lipsticks from MAC. For some of you that may seem like a lot, and for some of you it may seem like a little, but for me it's just the right amount. I feel like I have a good selection of colours and they all get regularly used.
*Before I start I just want to say that I love MAC lipsticks. I feel most of them have amazing pigmentation, I love the vanilla flavour and the colour selection is amazing.

Close contact is described as a 'creamy peach with an amplified finish'. I find it hard to find nudes that don't wash me out but this is perfect. The peach undertones add warmth *so you want look like a corpse* it's super pigmented because of the amplified finish so it blocks out your lips completely! but it's also super creamy and wearable. This is definitely my most 'nude' lipstick in my collection, it's limited edition from the magnetic nude collection though so I don't know if it's still available.

Shy girl is described as a 'creamy neutral coral beige' . This lipsticks is a gorgeous nude/peach colour. I'd say this is definetly more easy to wear than close contact as it's not as light or as opaque. It's a cream sheen finish which makes it quite pigmented with a slight glossy sheen to it. This lipstick suits everyone from light to dark skin tones and looks great as an everyday lip or paired with a smoky eye.

Angel is described as a 'soft pink'. If I'm being completely honest with you bought this because I heard it was one of Kim kardashians favourites. It's a gorgeous light pink colour which actually pulls not that light on me, it's gorgeous for day time or night time. It's a frost finish but I don't think it's that frosty. If you love the colour but don't like frosts then try creme cup because they're almost identical.

Snob is described as a 'light neutral pink' this is literally my go to lipstick no matter what the occasion. This lipstick is just amazing! It looks so girly and pretty for day time wear or dramatic with a black smokey eye. The formula is quite matte but not drying at all, it lasts ages without fading which is a plus.

Saint Germain is described as a 'clean pastel pink' I'm sure all of you have heard of this lipstick. People tend to either love it or hate it because it is a very light bubblegum pink which can be hard to wear. I personally love it! I think it looks feminine and fun paired with a cat eye and bronzer. I haven't wore it much because I only recently bought it and to me it's more of a summer colour.

Please Me is described as a 'muted-rosy-tinted pink'. I really don't know how to describe this colour it's really unique compared to any other lipsticks I own. This lipstick is pink, but in a really subtle way. This is such a beautiful lipstick for everyday wear and I think it would suit most people. Go get it!

Viva Glam Nicki is described as a 'Bright yellow toned pink'   I know this looks quite scary and bold in the tube but this colour is beautiful. It looks so vibrant and summery and just seems to brighten up my face. It really is unique and I personally haven't found any dupes for it. Also it's satin finish which is by far my favourite finish. It was limited edition though so I don't think it's available anymore.

Girl about town is described as a 'bright blue fuschia' ah this lipstick is infamous. I'm yet to find a person that doesn't like it and I can see why. It's a bright pink lipstick that pretty much suits everyone! It's an amazingly bright lipstick, perfect for a night out, but it doesn't look clownish at all. I'd definitely recommend!

Impassioned is described as a 'amped up fuschia' this lipstick is such a beautiful colour, it's bright but not too I'm your face and would look perfect in summer time. BUT I just feel like it doesn't look right on me. For some reason it pulls really coral on me and I don't suit corals at all. I'm hoping I can make it work in the summer.

Rebel is described as a 'midtonal cream plum' let me just say, I'm in love with this lipstick! I'm not joking, I'd walk down the aisle and marry this baby. This lipstick is just the perfect deep purple for my pale skin, without looking too vampy or making me look like a ghost. Its a satin finish which is my favourite and the staying power is amazing. This lasts nearly all day and leaves a gorgeous berry stain behind which looks amazing on its own. Honestly you can tell i've been wearing this lipstick even the next day!

Russian Red is described as a 'intense bluish red' I know this lipstick has a massive hype around it but I believe that it's well deserved. This suits my complexion amazingly, but it would pretty much suit any skin tone light or dark. This is just the perfect red in my eyes, whether its for day or night. It's a matte formula but I don't find it that drying at all, plus it honestly lasts ALL DAY! If you're looking for a long lasting red then buy this!
