Spice Up The Holidays//thenucreations guest post

Saturday, 14 December 2013

Every year, the Christmas season comes around and everyone thinks they need to wear red, use bright red lipstick, have classic perfect waves in their hair, and dress like a cute little Christmas doll.
While this is wonderful for some people, it doesn't work for everyone.
Maybe you want a new look this year, or maybe you just want to be different!
If this is the case, spice up your holiday routine with a few of these tricks and twists!

The tricks and twists

Ditch the classic wand waves, go for messy, textured ones! To keep the look clean, pull back the front strands and pin them behind your ears.
If you still want those classic waves, pump it up a bit by teasing and volumizing powder to revamp the classic look.
Try this for a neat and classy but modern look.
Instead of going for the classic scarlet lip, add a twist and choose a lipstick a few shades darker, or more of a plum.

Do you like sticking to the classic Christmas look, or are you excited to try something new? Are you planning to use any of these ideas?

  3. we're loving the messy wave look, but it's so difficult for us to achieve because we usually end up looking like we've just rolled out of bed!! We love the Olsen sisters by the way, so we love the first picture!
