November Favourites!

Wednesday, 4 December 2013

Decembers finally here!
While this means it’s time for the holiday preparations to begin, it also means the end of November so I'm going to share with you the beauty products I've been loving the most throughout the last month.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

After hearing a lot of hype about this concealer throughout the blogging world, when I saw it on 3 for 2 earlier this month I knew I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! This concealer is honestly one of the best I've ever tried. I've always had a lot of trouble with concealers and never really liked them. I’ve always had quite dry skin and most concealers tend to dry out and settle into my fine lines *not a good look for a 17 year old* With this concealer I have none of those problems. It comes with a fun sponge applicator and is very pigmented, perfect for hiding those dark circles. This concealer has amazing coverage, lasts all day, doesn’t dry out or settle into fine lines and is only £8:99

Dainty Doll Blush: 003 Money Talks

If you didn’t already know, Dainty Doll is a makeup brand created by Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud aimed specifically at paler girls. When the brand was first launched I had my eye on a lot of their products but they were quite pricey. After seeing that they were on fragrance direct for seriously discounted prices I ordered them there and then. My favourite purchase was by far one of their power blushes in the shade ‘Money Talks’ First of all, every single one of their blushes are EXTREMELY pigmented which is amazing as I got them for the discounted price of £1:99! Money Talks is a bronze colour that can be used as a contour, bronzer or blush. I’ve been using this as a blush nearly every day. This is a perfect blush for this season as I want something to warm up my complexion and I’ve been wearing a red lip quite often so I don’t want to wear anything pink.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains: Romantic

I’ve always loved red lipstick for the winter as it’s so bright and festive. I have several good red lipsticks but in the past month I’ve found myself reaching for my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in ‘Romantic’. Revlon’s balm stains are amazingly pigmented and hydrating which is especially good in the winter months when drier lips are common. Romantic is the perfect holiday red and is just so easy to pull off on a daily basis. They are a dream to apply, and even when they wear off they leave a lovely stain on your lips. You can pick these up from any Boots or Superdrug for £7:99

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Unless you’ve all been living under a rock, I’m sure you know all about the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Since I’ve been wearing a red lip often this month I’ve needed to go quite neutral on the eye so I’ve been reaching for this more and more often. Although since I’ve bought the Naked Basics I’ve been using that too. In case you didn’t know, you can get the naked palette from Debenhams for £36

Seventeen Doll’d Up Mascara

I’ve never tried any of Seventeen’s products before but after a recommendation from a friend I picked up a couple of their products recently, one being their Doll’d Up Mascara. Although I’ve always loved Maybellines mascaras and thought nothing could compete, I LOVE THIS! I had pretty low expectations as Seventeen is a relatively cheap brand, but boy was I wrong. This mascara hold curl perfectly, lengthens your lashes, doesn't’t clump and adds volume. What more could you ask for £6:29?

That’s it for my November favourites.
