MAC Lipstick haul

So everyone I have a confession to make... I'm addicted to buying lipsticks.

I never used to like lipsticks until about a year and a half ago when I fell in love with Revlon's. Since then I've added quite a lot of them to my collection, but I've always wanted some from MAC. I've always lusted after MAC lipsticks because of the huge colour selection and range of finishes. I'm pretty sure if you can't think of a lipstick, MAC will sell it.

There's no MAC store or MAC counter where I live so I've never got round to getting any. I've thought about ordering some online before but I wanted to swatch them before buying so I didn't. A couple of days ago I went out shopping in a nearby city and I just happened to come across a MAC store!

I decided to treat myself and buy two lipsticks and my boyfriend bought me two for my birthday which he's hidden away from me.

1. Angel If I'm being honest with you guys, I've really wanted to try Angel because I heard it was a favorite of Kim Kardashian. Yes, the Kardashian's are a guilty pleasure of mine and I think they're all gorgeous. Angel is described as a Soft Pink. On me Angel is almost a 'my lips but better' colour, its perfect for everyday wear and I already know I'm going to love it. It's a frost finish but it's not all that frosty, if you don't like frosts though you could always try Creme Cup which is almost identical apart from the finish.

2. Russian Red This lipstick is described as an intense blue-ish red. I'm a massive fan of red lips and this lipstick is amazing! It's just the perfect red for my skintone and is great for day and nighttime wear. The finish is Matte but its not drying at all, I can't wait to start wearing this.

3. Saint Germain MAC describes Saint Germain as a clean pastel pink. It's a very blue toned pink which makes it very bright on the lips. It's a very love/hate colour but I think it's gorgeous. I can't wait to start experimenting with my makeup to make it more wearable. I think it looks amazing paired with a thick winged liner and lots of mascara.

4. Rebel I LOVE purple lips but I've been hunting around for the perfect colour for a while and getting nowhere. Most of the colours have been too dark and just haven't suited me at all. When I saw this I fell in love. A Midtonal cream plum Rebel has just the right balance of purple and red in for me and its dramatic but not too dark. The pigmentation is outstanding, after swatching my lips then removing it my lips actually had a stain for the rest of the day! The finish is a satin which is a little drying but ensures it lasts all day.
